Security Concepts EP
The ninth release on Urban Scrumping is the Security Concepts EP by London based producer Full Spektrum. The EP features the trademark rolling breaks and old school samples Full Spektrum injects into the 'dubstep' sound to make it his own as well as a remix from Rag & Bone/Combat Recordings badman Blackmass Plastics.
Beginning with the stomping sounds of Socket Box, this sub heavy roller introduces the release with intense synth stabs, haunting vocals and an unstoppable groove.
Security Concepts follows with a bouncing half step hook where chopped vocals and stuttering lead lines combine with industrial rave hits to create one for the dancefloor.
The haunting delayed synth lines of Impossible Encounter come next, fusing with fragmented percussion, eerie vocals and deep sub bass to give this track a cool hypnotic late night feel.
Blackmass Plastics then steps up for a massive breaks remix of Impossible Encounter, taking no prisoners with this heavyweight dancefloor punisher.
The distinct sounds of Full Spektrum has not gone unnoticed, with a wide range of support from the likes of Bunzer0, Matt U, Phaeleh, Rob Booth, Twisted (Dutty Dubz) and Stormfield.
With releases currently out and forthcoming on Bankai Audio, Urban Scrumping, Mata Syn, Filthy Digital and UK Trends, 2010 is going to be a big year for this talented producer.
